Spirit Aviation is Georgia-Carolina's answer to flight flight-school. Located in Thomson, GA, this premiere flight school offers flight flight-school for the beginning Recreational, Private, Instrument, and Commercial Pilot. Whether you're a local student or an international student, our flight school provides an ideal flight-school site with low traffic, a practice area nearby, and easy access to the Augusta Regional Airport.

At Spirit Aviation we believe there are two kinds of people: those who are pilots, and those who want to be pilots. If you already are a pilot and are interested in additional ratings, we can provide the flight flight-school you need to begin a career in aviation. If you have been looking wistfully towards the clouds for as long as you can remember, we can accommodate you as well. We provide a highly trained staff of flight instructors and new Cessna Skyhawks, and you provide the desire and enthusiasm.

If your preference is sitting in a noisy classroom trying to make sense of a lecture and an overhead projector, you'll need to go somewhere else. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one instruction our flight instructors provide to student pilots. You will build a comfortable, trusting rapport with your instructor as he (or she) guides you through the skies. So you have a busy schedule and don't think you can spare a few hours a week towards flying? Think again. Our personal approach to instruction is designed around your schedule. Pencil us in for a Discovery Flight to see what we mean. Take the controls on your first flight, and don't be shy when you run into friends later that day. Casually mention, "I was flying an airplane today," and brace yourself for the reaction. "You're kidding? Isn't that hard? Don't you need a kazillion hours of flight-school? Isn't it super expensive?" You can look them in the eye, then confidently and honestly answer, "No! Flying is something anyone can do!"
